Carolina Inspection Services, Inc. is an accredited agency with the American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) to provide heat treatment (HT) inspection services for both lumber and Wood Packaging Material (WPM).

The goals of CIS are to assist Wood Packaging Material and Lumber producers in their export objectives and to aid in maintaining compliance under the International Plant Protection Convention Guidelines for International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM 15).
