DAN
EATON - PRESIDENT
Dan started the company in March of 2004 after understanding the need for the service and about the upcoming implementation of ISPM 15. Dan graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. His background comes from a history with the Southern Pine Inspection Bureau where he was responsible for enforcing national grading rules on pine lumber, educating those client companies, and consulting those companies on various sawmill and planer operations, and treated lumber. Dan also has a background of consulting forestry & forest management.

AMANDA
GILREATH-EATON
VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS
Amanda started with CIS in August of 2005. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Tennessee. She also worked for 10 years in the staffing industry. During this period she was the regional manager for the Charlotte area. Amanda is the mother of Brady and Karson, and she enjoys tennis, snow, and water skiing.

DAVE
STROTHER - SUPERVISOR INSPECTOR - NC/SC
Dave has been with CIS since September of 2005. He is the supervisor inspector, and assist Mr. Eaton with daily wpm issues and its application to the field staff. After economic changes in the telecommunication industry, Dave returned to school and graduated from Montgomery Community College in Forestry Technology in 2005. He lives in a country setting with his wife, Patty. Dave's hobbies are hunting, fishing and lumberjack sports.

Kyla is a Hocking College graduate with an Associates degree in Forest Management. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, and sons, Jace and Evan. She also loves spending her spare time outdoors and cooking.

JONATHAN
POST - QUALITY INSPECTOR
NORTHEAST TERRITORY - VA, WV, NY, PA, DE, NJ, NC
Jonathan graduated in May 2009 from Virginia Tech with a major in Wood
Science and Foreset Products-Manufacturing Systems. Experience and education
in primary and secondary manufacturing have given him a solution based
mindset in the forest products market. He lives in Pearisburg, VA with
his wife, Lohryn.
Jonathan enjoys playing rugby for Blacksburg,
watching
Virginia Tech football, and enjoying
the outdoors.

Jerry worked for Hocking College as a Forestry Instructor before becoming a part of our family here at Carolina Inspection Services, Inc. He has been married to Lisa for 36 years and has two sons. His hobbies include hiking and photography.
